Where Chico Businesses Grow With Intention.

Data Driven Consulting exists because real transformation doesn’t come from guessing — it comes from clarity. I partner with Chico business owners to translate data into simple, usable strategy that drives momentum and confident decision-making. Together, we create growth that is intentional, values-aligned, and sustainable — so your business supports the life you’re building, not the other way around.

The Origin

Why Chico?

Data Driven Consulting is deeply rooted in Chico. In 1961, my grandparents founded Atkins Farmlab here — helping local growers understand what their crops needed to thrive and building trusted relationships across the farming community.

After 15 years living and working around the world, I returned to Chico with my own family and finally understood what my grandparents saw: a community with heart, grit, and real possibility.

Community has always been at the center of my work — from strengthening people-focused systems in Zambia to supporting businesses and families here at home. Now, I want to honor my family’s legacy by contributing to Chico’s growth in a way that is grounded, local, and genuinely supportive of the people who make this place special.

The Philosophy

How Growth Actually Happens

Growth doesn’t come from pushing harder, guessing, or blindly chasing hustle culture. Growth comes from clarity. When small businesses can see what’s actually happening inside their business, they make better decisions — decisions that align with their values, goals, and capacity. My work makes data accessible, human, practical, and usable — not intimidating or overly technical. I use simple frameworks and proven strategy to help business owners learn how to implement changes in a way that drives sustainable, manageable growth — growth they can maintain, support, and actually enjoy.

Experience You Can Trust

Over the last 10+ years, I’ve led high-impact strategy and organizational development work across multiple sectors — including market systems development, large-scale USAID-funded projects, and small business growth programs. I’ve worked with over 500 small businesses through large-scale initiatives, and more than 30 one-on-one to improve operations, strengthen profitability, grow revenue, and reduce costs. I’ve led teams, managed million dollar projects, and delivered successful transformations rooted in operational, financial, HR, and systems-level understanding. My approach is human-centered, grounded in real-world behavior, and shaped by extensive grassroots experience — getting hands-on, designing solutions bottom-up, and ensuring they actually work in practice, not just on paper.
